In 2014 FOSFA International, a commodity trade association based in the City of London, was forced to move offices at the termination of a lease and building closure in EC3.

Difficult property conditions and a tight small premises market created a very short completion of contract and move out, resulting in occupancy of just over 2,000 sq ft in a third floor EC2 building in late July.

At relatively short notice WorkSpace Design Ltd undertook an on-site inspection of the new premises, developed design drawings in response to our requirements and generated plans for Landlord approval enabling, within one calendar month (and client partial occupation), the open space conversion into an open office working area, three meeting rooms, a fitted kitchen/utility area, the provision of an IT and communications network (eight work stations) and bespoke in-office display cabinets. The organisation was open for business at the beginning of September and hosted meetings on schedule, and in premises that the members were very impressed with and have since much enjoyed, as do the small permanent staff.

Martin Rich and his team did an incredible job in restricted time and space, under demanding conditions of both us as clients and agents for landlord. The outfitting has been completed timely and to a very high standard. The costs matched an accurate budget plan and all regulatory issues, including post project documentation, was delivered on time and complete.
